I’ve been a State Farm agent since 2011 and have worked with the company since 2005, but my commitment to serving others goes back much further. For over 30 years, I’ve been actively involved in my community — from volunteering with special needs athletes in the 90s to my current roles as a weather catastrophe volunteer and school district sponsor for both Bexar and Comal counties. Along the way, I’ve also spent time coaching wrestling and football, which taught me the value of teamwork, perseverance, and mentorship — qualities I bring into my agency every day.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Scott Haslam - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
